Senior Market Support Specialist

Department: MWG Senior Services

General Purpose

Full-time position for Support Specialist in our Senior Services Department. Candidate will work closely with others in the department to ensure our team’s success. The Support Specialist will assist other members of the sales team by handling remote interactions with customers, helping with promotional and event activities, assisting clients during the Annual Enrollment Period and by pitching relevant products or services to our current clients. Maintaining customer satisfaction is the primary goal, and much time is spent responding to inquiries, helping with issues and providing updates on requests while looking for new sales opportunities. The position is based at Morgan White Group, 500 Steed Road, Ridgeland, MS 39157.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support advisors in their sales positions
  • Support the coordinator with promotional and event activities
  • Build relationships with customers by proactively following up on their satisfaction with company services and addressing inquiries and concerns
  • Represent the division as the client’s main point of contact
  • Responsible for relaying information and coordinating with internal teams to solve customer issues
  • Create new opportunities with existing customers by pitching relevant products or services
  • Assist clients during the Annual Enrollment Period with drug plan coverage
  • Provide support to clients over the phone and occasionally in the office

Education and Experience

Prefer bachelor’s degree in business or 3 years of experience in the field or a related area. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Life and Health Insurance license preferred. Ideal candidate is energetic, a self-starter with a strong sense of urgency, has high organizational skills, able to prioritize, performs well under deadlines and believes in the power of teamwork.

Senior Market Advisor

Department: MWG Senior Services

General Purpose

Sales and marketing to clients that are approaching retirement, including making cold calls, group agent referrals, presentations, webinars, networking and more. This position reports to Amber Jones. This is a full-time position and is based at Morgan White Group, 500 Steed Road, Ridgeland, MS 39157.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Educate individuals on their Medicare and other insurance options pre and post retirement.
  • Market and sell insurance products. May identify and monitor competitors and research market conditions or changes in the industry that may affect sales.
  • Ability to relate positively, favorably and cooperatively with others, including other associates and personnel of outside agencies and organizations.
  • Ensures that Morgan White Group’s goods and services consistently meet client needs.
  • Continues to develop future markets for MWG products and services.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Must meet deadlines, specific sales quotas and minimum call time.
  • All calls must be notated using our CRM software.
  • Prompt response to emails and voicemails.

Education and Experience

May require a bachelor's degree or its equivalent and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Insurance background, Health or Life Insurance License preferred (MWG will pay for it if you do not have one). Highly proficient in Outlook, Word, CRM Software and Internet. Sales and Customer Service experience preferred. Strong organizational and excellent communication skills (written and verbal). High energy, sales driven, quick learner.
