Training & QA Specialist

Department: MWG Administrators

General Purpose

The non-exempt position performs QA audits for all departments within the TPA and ensures BITSY Testing. Full-time hours are Monday–Thursday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. The position is based at Morgan White Group, 500 Steed Road, Ridgeland, MS 39157.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assists the TPA Training and QA Manager to develop training curriculum for the TPA.
  • Responsible for training, cross-training and re-training based on the needs of the departments within the TPA.
  • Assists or suggest department standards and P&P to the TPA Training and QA Manager.
  • Track and review processes within the TPA and provide feedback or additional training.
  • Provides feedback the TPA Admin and Manager regarding issues and performance within the TPA.
  • Submit department training reports to the TPA Training and QA Manager in approved audit format.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Department Manager or the TPA Training & QA Manager.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED required. Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years of Insurance related experience preferably TPA experience. Bitsy software and QA knowledge preferred.

Eligibility Specialist

General Purpose

Full-time Eligibility Specialist is a full-time, primarily a data entry position. This position is responsible for coordinating and supporting initiatives relative to the eligibility of the individual or group policy holders. Full-time hours are Monday-Thursday, 8:00 a.m.– 5 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m.- 2:30 p.m. The position is based at Morgan White Group, 500 Steed Road, Ridgeland, Mississippi 39157.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process new insurance policies and modifications to existing policies.
  • Obtain information from policyholders to verify the accuracy applications, related documents, and company records.
  • Process and record new insurance policies.
  • Correspond with insured to obtain information or inform them account status or changes.
  • Modify, update, and process existing policies and claims to reflect any change in beneficiary, amount of coverage, or type of insurance.
  • Process, prepare, and submit business or government forms, such as submitting applications for coverage to insurance carriers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Manager.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma. Knowledge of customer service principles with ability to use phone and computer software.

Project Manager

Department: MWG Mestmaker and Assoc.

Location: 1675 Chester Ave, Ste 400, Bakersfield, CA 93301

Reports to: Department Manager in Bakersfield, California

General Purpose

Accomplishes project objectives by planning and evaluating project activities. The Project Manager oversees projects, billing, and premium administration and provides customer service and sales support. The Project Manager may help to define project objectives and oversee quality control in order to deliver and finalize projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • With the Office Manager, works to achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.
  • Communicates and reports on progression of ongoing projects, goals and/or performance issues.
  • Participates in client meetings regarding joint projects or internal projects.
  • Research, reproduce and resolve client-reported issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Reviews and assures quality assurance of the end product before implementing with internal or external customers.
  • Documents and establish policy and may train on how to use the resources for account specialists.

Qualifications

Prefer College degree in Business, Marketing or Insurance Administration. Prefer 3 years of experience in project management or insurance administration. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) for writing reports, spreadsheets. Ability to work independently with excellent time management skills.

Web Application Developer

Key Responsibilities

  • Experience in server-side application development (C#, MVC, LINQ & Entity Framework)
  • Proficient in client-side technologies (JavaScript, jQuery, Css, Knockout / Angular)
  • Knowledge of relational databases and SQL for the development of database driven, web-based applications
  • Understanding of SOAP and REST web services
  • Analyze existing web sites UI processes and implement improvements
  • Work with design team to develop new and existing web sites
