Senior Market Coordinator

General Purpose

Full-time position in MWG Senior Services. Must be energetic, a self-starter with a strong sense of urgency, enjoys networking/recruiting, has excellent meeting facilitation, moderation, and presentation skills, has high organizational skills, able to prioritize, performs well under deadlines, and believes in the power of teamwork. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Planning and setting up of local events for seniors and business professionals for referrals.
  • Recruit outside referral sources and recruiting agents.
  • Maintaining the referral agent program to ensure payment of agents each quarter.
  • Researching and presenting advertising or marketing ideas.
  • Designing forms, newsletters and communication tools with clients.
  • Seeking new promotional ideas.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business is preferred. Experience in event planning, promoting and/or marketing in business. Microsoft Office experience in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.

Internal Auditor

Department: MWG Administrators

General Purpose

The Internal Auditor works with and is supervised by the IT Internal Auditor and this position reports to the Board of Directors. The position provides an independent, assurance and consultative approach to specific audit activities designed to add value and improve organizational operations by evaluating the risk, control and governance processes used by the company, its affiliates and business associates. The position is based within the offices of Morgan White Group, 500 Steed Road, Ridgeland, MS.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and executing audit engagements to include the identification of inherit risks and control objectives and completion of audit workpapers.
  • Evaluate and provide reasonable assurance that risk management, control and governance systems are functioning as intended to enable MWG objectives and goals to be met.
  • Report risk management issues and internal control deficiencies identified directly to the audit committee and provide recommendations for improving the Company operations in efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assist the IT Internal Auditor in evaluation of information security and associated risk exposures and help with the Company’s readiness in the event of business interruption.
  • Provide a point of contact for the external auditor(s) and regulators with regard to their audit and compliance requirements.
  • Provide support to MWG’s anti-fraud program.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Department Manager.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting is required. Master’s degree in Business or Accounting preferred. One year of experience in audit, accounting or insurance related work experience required. Three years of audit experience in an insurance or financial services preferred. Prefer bilingual to interact and audit international companies.

Customer Service Specialist

General Purpose

Full-time position for Customer Service Specialist who assists group or individual clients or providers with questions regarding insurance or claims. The position is based at Morgan White Group, 500 Steed Road, Ridgeland, MS 39157.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deal directly with customer either by telephone, electronically or face to face.
  • Handles and resolves customer complaints promptly
  • Obtains and evaluates all relevant information to handle inquiries and transactions.
  • Process orders, forms, applications, and requests.
  • Keep records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Record details of inquiries, comments and complaints.
  • Record details of actions taken and manage customers’ accounts.

Education and Experience

High school diploma, GED or equivalent. Call center and claims experience preferred. Excellent communication and people skills. Knowledge of customer service principles and practices to analyze and solve problems. Computer and data entry skills.

Policy Issue Specialist

Full-time position for Policy Issue Specialist, primarily a data entry position. This position is responsible for coordinating and supporting initiatives relative to the eligibility of the individual or group policy holders. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinates electronic uploads, spreadsheets or individual entries of new individual or group policies to ensure accuracy.
  • Reviews, reports, or records applications for accuracy and content.
  • Reviews eligibility before finalizing information to carriers.

Education and Experience

Systems Analyst

Full-time position with Morgan White Group. This position provides system-level support of multi-user applications and software tools/utilities including the installation, configuration, maintenance and support of these system. Key Responsibilities

  • Collect information to analyze and evaluate existing or proposed systems.
  • Windows development skills using Microsoft Visual Studio, MicrosoftTeam Foundation, Windows Forms, business objects technologies and C# are required.
  • Develop support workflows and processes as necessitated by the team.
  • Database development skills using Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft SQL Management Studio are required.
  • Use of systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users, to determine hardware, software or system functional specifications.
